Brief History
Green Village Agro Private Limited
commenced production in the year 1963 since then the goodwill
and high quality standards have helped us expand to Public
Limited Company namely Green
Village Agro Private Limited having production
acess to 16 Rice Mills Located in Karnal District in the
State of Haryana, India.

Infrastructure
The company has an adequate infrastructure to cater the
demands of Global Trade. We growing Paddy on our lands
as well as other farmers' land under contract firmingts.
The annual milling capacity exceeds 80,000 Metric Tons
with plants located at Taraori, Karnal producing both
Basmati and Non-Basmati varieties.

Chahat Basmati Rice is grown
in lush green paddy fields nartured in the sun blessed fertile
plains of north India over generations, the perfect rythm of
the seasons of North India have harvested Basmati to a unique
long grained texture an exclusive aroma & flavour that leaves
nothing more to be desired.
The
Assurance of Quality
Chahat Basmati Rice is processed
with state of the art technology, Chahat is polished, graded
and then passed through colour sorter to impart a distinctive
pearly texture, untouched by human hands and free of dirt and
weevils.
Cooking
Methods
Take 250 gm rice for 4 generous servings.Transfer to fine mesh
sieve and rince thoroughly in cold running water. Take double
amount of water to volume of rice ( ratio 2:1 ). Soak for 20
minutes now follow either of the methods given below.
Put measured rice and water in to good size heavy bottomed pan.
Add salt (Optional as per taste). Bring to boil, stir, lower
heat to gentle simmer. Cover and cook for 20 minutes. Do not
remove lid or stir. Let stand for a few minutes.
Note :- If liquid is not completely
absorbed replace lid and cook gently for few more minutes.
